MIX is less than 2 weeks away! It’s NOVEMBER 5th & 6th! You WILL be there!!!   As I’ve mentioned the debuts of both the MANLY TALES OF COWARDICE and SUPERMARKET VIGILANTE graphic novels will be there, as will the debuts of the GERM WARFARE and DUH! anthologies I have stories in. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, maybe even best of all, I am going to be a panelist during the SALON SALOON show at MIX!!!  I love SALON SALOON so being asked to be a part of it is one of the biggest honors ever.  Not only that, but the panel includes Lena Chandhok, Corinne Mucha, and John Porcellino–one of the people without whom I would not have even started doing mini-comics.  Life has come full circle.

Speaking of life….I recently went to Mexico.  While there I did some drawings.  So over the next few weeks I’ll be posting all of those.  YAY!  Fresh Content!!!  So lets begin with the first full day in Mexico, with my view from the patio…during a tropical storm…

We (myself, my wife, cartoonist LUPI McGINTY, and her husband MARK McGINTY) spent that day getting SHHHHHIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT-faced at the beach bar, playing cards with Israelis, and then swimming in the ocean once it stopped raining.  Awesome.  fortunately the weather cleared up, and after spending a day zooming up and down the island, we spent a day on the beach and I got some more drawing done…

…more to come….
