As I mentioned a few days ago, in addition to MANLY TALES OF COWARDICE I draw a comic called TOMMY CHICAGO, which is written by Brian Bastian (www.tommychicago.com).
Above is the cover to issue one of volume two (Bob Lipski drew volume one), and to date Brian and I have put out two issues (with Brian feverishly typing away on a script for issue three). These two issues were printed through www.comixpress.com and should TECHNICALLY be available to purchase there online.
But for some reason, despite several friendly reminders to them that our comic is not linked for sale, TOMMY CHICAGO is still nowhere to be found. Brian sees this as a set-back. I see it as wholly unprofessional of them.
Comixpress can be contacted at: info@comiXpress.com if you’d like to order a copy, or if you’d like to just wag your finger at them for not having TC listed. (We’re from Minnesota, so being all confrontional–even via email–goes against our genetic programming.)
Also, don’t forget my Cartoonist Conspiracy sisters and brothers and I will be drawing, selling our comics, and taking any and all admiration for our art hang at Diamonds for this weekends ART-A-WHIRL in Minneapolis. Today we’ll be there from 5pm to 10pm.
More info on the Conspiracy show/table and ART-A-WHIRL in general go to: http://www.cartoonistconspiracy.com/conspire/?p=1347
